Cleaning our Rooftop Garden

BLS Trash Dash!

Our annual Trash Dash takes place in October! This is an event in which students compete in teams to collect as much trash and recyclables as possible from the school campus and general Longwood area. By cleaning the school grounds and its surrounding area, we hope to foster a sense of responsibility and stewardship within our student body, as well as reducing our direct impacts on the environment.

Annual Sixie Assembly

YouthCAN hosts an annual Sixie Climate Assembly (7th Grade) for the newest members of our school in September! The purpose of this event is to increase awareness within the school community about climate change and its impacts within the city of Boston and beyond.
